Steve Flavin is a director, editor, and digital content creator in Los Angeles. In 2019, his award-winning short film, THIRST TRAP—a supernatural, LGBTQ "motion selfie" that he wrote, directed, and performed solo—screened at Fantastic Fest in Austin, TX, as well as international festivals in Los Angeles, New York, Vancouver BC, and Cape Town, South Africa. He also co-founded the SpookFest horror film festival in San Francisco, currently in its third year.
Originally from San Francisco, Steve has created content for numerous brands and organizations, including Facebook, GoldieBlox, GitHub, UC Berkeley, and performing arts companies throughout the Bay Area. As editor, he’s worked on music videos, viral campaigns, and documentaries, including the acclaimed YouTube-sponsored series AMERICAN HIPSTER PRESENTS.
